Character Design

Working with creative director Joshua Vasquez, the visual aesthetic of graphic novel series Everlight has unfolded across two seperate contracts spanning February of 2023 into March of 2024. In that time, Josh and I have collaborated on major and minor characters, developing their specific anatomic attributes, embodying their individual quirks, and dressing them for their contexts. We have also turned our attention toward the larger world building of Everlight, establishing stylistic characteristics to fit the diverse inhabitants of this fictional world. At this time I have created over seventy designs ranging from recognizable characters, to unspecific imaginations of the common populace. Only a small portion of these designs are shown here.
